All Buses Cancelled – Strike – Friday, February 21

Due to Province wide strikes on Friday, February 21 all buses will be cancelled.   Unless an agreement is reached, classes and school transportation will be cancelled for the day for the following boards: Superior-Greenstone District School Board, Superior North Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario and CSDC des Aurores boréales.

Grève du vendredi 21 février : annulation de tous les autobus

En raison de la grève annoncée à l’échelle de la province le vendredi 21 février, tous les autobus seront annulés.

À moins qu’un accord ne soit conclu, les classes et le transport scolaire seront annulés pour la journée pour les conseils suivants :Superior-Greenstone District School Board,  Superior North Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario,  CSDC des Aurores boréales

Dorion Public School – Afternoon Delay – Feb 14, 2020

There will be a combined run to get students home for Dorion Public School.  There will be a 15 to 20 minute delay for the students on Route 4 for drop offs.

The morning run is still on the regular schedule.

Nipigon – Red Rock – Dorion – Laken Helen Buses Cancelled Feb 12, 2020

Due to rapidly deteriorating road conditions the buses in Dorion, Red Rock, Nipigon and Lake Helen are cancelled. Nipigon in town also cancelled.

Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario – Annulation d’autobus le jeudi 13 février 2020

L’Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO) a annoncé qu’il y aura une grève d’une journée le jeudi 13 février 2020. Les autobus seront donc annulés et les écoles suivantes seront fermées aux élèves : École publique Franco-Manitou, École secondaire Château-Jeunesse et École secondaire Cité-Supérieure. Le tout retourne à l’horaire régulier le vendredi 14 février 2020.    

Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario Bus Cancellations Thursday February 13, 2020

The Association of Franco-Ontarian Teachers of Ontario (AEFO) has announced that there will be a one strike on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Buses and classes are cancelled for this day.

The affected schools include École publique Franco-Manitou, École secondaire Château-Jeunesse and École secondaire Cité-Supérieure.

Busing will return to its regular schedule on Friday, February 14.

École secondaire Château-Jeunesse – Délais les 12 et 14 février 2020

Il y a une possibilité de retard, d’une durée maximale de 10 minutes, pour l’autobus qui se rend à l’École secondaire Château-Jeunesse les 12 et 14 février 2020. Ceci s’applique seulement à la route du matin. Il n’y a aucun changement ou délai prévu pour cet autobus après l’école.

 Chateau-Jeunesse Ecole Secondaire delays on February 12 and February 14 

 There may be delays of up to 10 minutes on the bus servicing Chateau-Jeunesse Ecole Secondaire on Wednesday February 12, Thursday February 13 and Friday February 14.  This will occur for the morning runs only.  The afternoon runs on these days will remain the same.

Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales bus cancellations February 13

Le syndicat représentant les enseignantes et les enseignants de langue française de l’Ontario (AEFO) a récemment annoncé sa prochaine phase de moyens de pression et a émis un avis de grève pour le jeudi 13 février 2020.

 Les écoles seront fermées aux élèves le jeudi 13 février.

À moins qu’un accord ne soit conclu, les classes et le transport scolaire seront annulés pour la journée pour les écoles suivantes : École catholique Franco-Terrace, Terrace Bay, École catholique Val-des-Bois, Marathon, École Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, Longlac, École St-Joseph, Geraldton

Le service de transport scolaire reprendra le vendredi 14 février.

  

The union representing Ontario’s French-language teachers (AEFO) recently announced its next phase of pressure tactics and issued a strike notice for Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 13. Unless an agreement is reached, classes and school transportation will be cancelled for the day for the following schools: École catholique Franco-Terrace, Terrace Bay, École catholique Val-des-Bois, Marathon, École Notre-Dame-de-Fatima, Longlac and École St-Joseph, Geraldton

Regular busing will resume on Friday, February 14.

Superior-Greenstone Secondary School Bus Cancelations Thursday February 13, 2020

In addition to the strike days previously announced by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO), the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) has announced that they will engage in a full withdrawal of services at Superior-Greenstone District School Board on Thursday, February 13, 2020. This impacts all high school teachers, as well as all education workers at our elementary and secondary schools.  Classes, therefore, for ALL students in the Superior-Greenstone District School Board will be cancelled on Thursday, February 13, 2020. 

The following Schools will be affected: Geraldton Composite High School, Lake Superior High School, Marathon High School and Nipigon-Red Rock District High. 

Busing will resume on Friday, February 14.

Superior – Greenstone District School Board Elementary Schools – No Buses February 11 & February 13

Superior – Greenstone District School Board Elementary Schools – No Buses February 11 & February 13

Due to the strike on Tuesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 13 there will be no buses for Elementary Students at Superior Greenstone District School Board.

There will be no school or buses for students at the following schools: Manitouwadge Public School, Margaret Twomey Public School, Terrace Bay Public School, Schreiber Public School, George O’Neill Public School, Dorion Public School, Beardmore Public School, BA Parker Public School, Nakina Public School, and Marjorie Mills Public School.

High Schools are not affected by this job action, and high school classes will be in full session. As a result, school buses will be running, but there will be no classes for elementary students.

Classes for elementary students will resume as normal the day following these identified strike dates.

En raison de la grève du mardi 11 et du jeudi 13 février, il n’y aura pas d’autobus ni d’école pour les élèves du primaire du Superior Greenstone District School Board : Manitouwadge Public School, Margaret Twomey Public School, Terrace Bay Public School, Schreiber Public School, George O’Neill Public School, Dorion Public School, Beardmore Public School, BA Parker Public School, Nakina Public School, and Marjorie Mills Public School. Les classes reprendront normalement les 12 et 14 février pour ces élèves.

Les écoles secondaires ne sont pas concernées par ce mouvement, les autobus circuleront pour elles et pour les autres Conseils scolaires.

 

Geraldton Composite High School / Chateau-Jeunesse Ecole Secondaire – Feb 4, 2020 Morning Delays

Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be combined bus runs in the morning. 

The bus brining students to Geraldton Composite High School students from Longlac will be delayed by 10 – 15 minutes in the morning for pickups.

The bus brining students to Chateau-Jeunesse Ecole Secondaire from Geraldton to Longlac will also be delayed 10 – 15 minutes in the morning. 

Buses will be back to the regular schedule for the afternoon runs.

Superior North Catholic District School Board – Bus Cancellations February 4, 2020, OECTA Strike

The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) has announced that it is embarking on a second full day province-wide withdrawal from service on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. All schools of the Superior North Catholic District School Board will be closed to students on February 4, 2020 and transportation will not be provided unless an agreement is reached before that date.

SGDSB, CSPGNO and CSDCAB schools are not affected by this action. As a result, school buses will run, and their students will have class.

L’Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) a annoncé qu’elle s’engageait dans un deuxième retrait total des services d’une journée, à l’échelle de la province, le mardi 4 février 2020.

Toutes les écoles du Superior North Catholic District School Board seront fermées aux élèves le 4 février 2020 et le transport ne sera pas assuré, à moins qu’un accord ne soit conclu avant cette date.

Les écoles du SGDSB, le CSPGNO et CSDCAB ne sont pas concernés par cette action.  Par conséquent, les autobus scolaires circuleront et leurs élèves auront classe.
