The bus from Red Rock servicing George O’Neill Public School will be cancelled for Monday, Sept 28 due to the driver shortage.

Route 09 servicing Margo Lake and stops on Hwy 625 will be cancelled on Friday, September 25 due to the driver shortage.
Affected schools include Ecole Notre Dame de Fatima, Our Lady of Fatima and Ecole Secondaire Chateau-Jeunesse.
Nipigon Red Rock High School – Nipigon in Town and Lake Helen will be combined in the morning Friday, September 11. There may be delays of 10 to 15 minutes for pickups and arrival at NRHS.
Here is the approximate pick up times to bring students home.
GCHS – Longlac – 2:00 pm
GCHS – Nakina – 2:30 pm
Longlac – Geraldton – 2:10 pm
Students will be picked up at all schools at 1 pm to go home early.
There will be delays with buses brining students’ home as the highway is closed between Longalc/Geraldton. There will also be delays bringing students home for Beardmore /Jelicoe as well due to the highway being closed. They will be picked up and brought home as soon as the highway reopens. This also affects the Nakina bus as it comes from Longlac. East of Thunder Bay Transportation Consortium is monitoring the situation and will update once more information becomes available.
Due to roads not being plowed the Marathon in town busses are cancelled
Due to unforeseen issues the runs servicing Dorion Public School will be delayed 30 to 40 minutes to get students home for the afternoon run Thursday, March 12.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the buses servicing Nipigon-Red Rock High School going to Nipigon and Lake Helen will be having a combined run in the afternoon from Tuesday, March 10 to Friday, March 13. The morning pickups will remain on their regular schedule for the week.
The bus going from Longlac to GCHS is delayed as it is waiting for a stopped train blocking the crossing in Longlac.
The afternoon runs need to be combined this afternoon. There may be up to a 30-minute delay in getting all the students home.
